This book completely changed not only the way that I approach perspective, but also the way that I look at the world in general. Rather than focusing upon perspective as an intersection of lines, the author encourages one to think in terms of volume and surface, even going so far as to recommend exercises designed to train one to draw "into" the space of the paper rather than viewing it as a two-dimensional surface to draw "on".
