This was my second attempt at the commission for the old Victorian. At this point I was still working on figuring out textures, colors and proportions for the house as a whole. I was pretty happy with how this piece came out, until partway through when I realized that I had left out an entire section of the turret. At that point, I had to accept that this piece demanded more panoramic proportions to capture the full glory of this old house.
