This painting represents my first attempt at a commission of a Victorian in Putnam, Connecticut, located in the United States. While I was able to get a good feel for the overall structure of the house, I omitted several important details when I created this image. The house also felt flatter than I had wanted, these factors caused me to choose to revisit my entire approach to this house, which led me on quite an adventure.
