This is the first piece that I created with margins. Although I had used bristol board a few times before, I was hoping that adding the margins would let the picture breathe - and it did! This is a drawing looking out from the front of the palazzo in Pari, Italia. Here you can see how the roofs enfold over top of each other, as well as the details of the brickwork that show old chimneys, windows, and doors so typical of Tuscany.
