After packing so much texture into Il Cunicolo - I, I was curious as to whether I could translate some of this into a watercolor painting. This is a painting of the terme, or hot springs, near Pari. While few people have heard of Pari, many more people are familiar with Pietriolo, partially due to a rave that was held there in the 80’s and partially due to its historic popularity with the popes. The bright blue pools are fed directly from the hot springs, while the water below is from the fiume (river) which brings some delightful and refreshingly cool water from afar.
