This piece continues with my exploration of color and texture, and even uses similar color mixtures to what I created for La Panda Blu - I. The main exit (uscita) from Pari has so much detail and texture to it and represents yet another level of the village that is so easy to overlook. This view looks down the hill towards the main parking lot on the roadway below the two churches. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, this piece provided me with inspiration for an altogether different approach to painting that would catapult my approach to Pari to a whole other level.
