This is a hybrid piece and actually one of my first attempts at painting the old manger in the medieval village of Pari, Italia. I did the original ink work using sepia Micron pens more than a year beforehand, and ended up painting it upon my return to Pari. So, while this painting represents my new abilities in mixing custom colors, the watercolor has been applied to an older framework, using older methods, creating an interesting hybrid.
