This is my third attempt at capturing the character of this funky little house in Pari, Italia. While I still wished to capture the patterning of the brickwork, I also wanted to do justice to the details of the building itself. There is something that I find fascinating about the texture of the stonework for all of the buildings in Pari, but the combination of stone, brick, and terracotta is really something special to behold. During the Spring and Summer months (and even into Fall) the planters are alive with flowers, adding a splash of color to complement the sandy stones.
