This piece is taken from the vantage point of the main church in Pari, Italia as one looks across the old well (pozzo) towards the ramp that leads up to the palazzo at the top of the village. I was (and still am) thoroughly intrigued by the patterning of the brickwork that serves as the base of the well, along with the sharp angle of the ramp that leads up to Pari’s palazzo.
