This is the second well (pozzo) that I painted in Pari, affectionately called Il Pozzo Gioco because it is an area where the younger children like to play. This area has so much texture in the stonework and so many layers and stairways. The railings on the left and right help keep people from accidentally stepping over the edge, even though several of the bimbi enjoy hanging on to the fence while they walk across the top of the wall.
