In keeping with my theme of taking a new approach to art in the New Year, I decided to draw the bell tower (il campanile) in Pari. Instead of looking out over the top of the village, however, I decided to capture the view from behind. I used a large sheet of bright white paper for this piece, along with black India ink, which imbued this piece with an altogether different feel than my painted pieces.
