This is a painting of another set of stairs in the medieval village of Pari, Italia. This set of stairs leads up from the lower giro up underneath the archways of Il Museo until it finally pops out at where the arches intersect with the upper giro. I was fortunate enough to see the poppies (i papaveri) when they were in full bloom in the springtime, flooding the area between the lower giro and the stairs with a swath of color.
