This was my third attempt at painting the old Aspinock Church. This time, I played even more with the height of the piece. I also worked in elements outside of the left and right margins in an attempt to draw the viewer in and make the piece feel more spacious. All in all, I was happy to experiment with the angles and proportions of a subject that had completely different proportions than what I was used to working with.
