This was my second attempt at painting Aspinock Church in rural New England, Stati Uniti. I chose to change the orientation of this piece to help emphasize just how tall the church and its steeple are, complete with its bell tower. While the proportions of my first piece were somewhat “squished” this piece captures the proportional relationships in a much more accurate manner, giving a sense of the immensity of the building in relation to its surroundings.
