La Piazza Castelfidardo - I

This painting captures another view of the main piazza in the medieval Italian village of Pari by looking up across the cement stairs. From this vantage point, you can not only see the stairway that leads up above the magazzino with the iron door, but also the front of Robbie’s store (negozio) and another cantina with a similar set of doors. Once you get past the store, you can expect to see children playing in the streets, watched by adults joking and conversing on the wooden benches a few doorways down.
