This little dog has won my heart! Who would have thought that such a little dog could have such a big personality? Just look at his focus. He looks as though he was born to drive.

Of course, the only way he can see out of the windshield is to sit atop the console. But you never know, especially in this world of self-driving cars.

Similar to my second piece of Mochi, I made extensive use of the watercolor pencils to build depth and texture. Especially now that I have a sharpener specifically designed to carve out a long, sharp point, I can get almost as much detail as I would be able to with a metal nib.

Either way, I hope this piece brings you as much joy as it did while I created it!
