There is nothing quite as complementary as being asked to do a commission of someone’s house. The owners of the property had been working for over a year restoring the farmhouse and the land around it, and it really showed. At first, the proportions and angles of the house gave me quite a challenge, until I came up with the idea of painting the house as a panoramic. This actually worked out quite well, as the house was constructed in two sections that were distinctly different from one another.
