I felt as though this little nook tucked behind Le Due Cecche had so much character that I just had to paint it. This is another example of the unpredictable ways in which walls and buildings intersect with one another in medieval Italian villages. If you look closely, you can see water bottles sitting outside the one window to ward of cats who may want to disturb the ambience (and smell) of the surroundings.
